These are images of a kiosk we did for the Dutch museum of coins and medals Royal Penningkabinet. The visitor of the exhibition could go into a small booth and take a picture of him/herself. This picture could then be manipulated by the visitor. He/she could add different Renaissance clothing and hats, add a name and choose a motto. Finally a coin was printed on a golden sticker, which the visitor could glue on a plastic coin and take home. The kiosk was built around a PC enhanced with a video grabbing card and a video camera. Also a printer, a heavy duty trackball and a coin validator where connected to the computer.
